Project Description & Details
Task
The Hiddenlogic Website addresses a practical task: The brand website for Hidden Logic built with Astro, TypeScript, and Tailwind. Component-based layout and static generation with a focus on speed.
The project is part of commercial development and is currently in active development. It is related to services: Marketing and corporate websites.
The case demonstrates the approach to tasks in the field of "Marketing and corporate websites": from setting goals to delivery with a clear module structure.
Before starting, we established readiness criteria: a clear first screen, predictable form errors, and the ability to make changes without rewriting half of the codebase.
Solution
A complete yet educational implementation has been made, focusing on code readability and reproducible builds.
The scenarios are designed so that the main actions fit within one or two screens: fewer switches, fewer input errors. Navigation and field labels are aligned with familiar patterns—users do not need to "learn the interface".
Special attention is given to loading states and empty lists: skeleton/spinner where data is fetched asynchronously, and clear empty-state texts instead of an empty table.
Architecture and stack
UI and client: Astro, Tailwind CSS.
Infrastructure and utilities: TypeScript.
Language distribution in the repository: TypeScript (49.3%), Astro (46.7%), Shell (2.3%), Python (0.6%), JavaScript (0.6%), HTML (0.2%), Dockerfile (0.2%), CSS (0%).
The layers are separated so that the UI is unaware of transport details: API/storage adapters, domain types, presentation components. This simplifies backend replacement and targeted UX adjustments.
Key features
- Astro — used in product logic: reduces the amount of custom code and speeds up the addition of new screens.
- TypeScript — used in product logic: reduces the amount of custom code and speeds up the addition of new screens.
- Tailwind CSS — used in product logic: reduces the amount of custom code and speeds up the addition of new screens.
Additionally:
- Integration and use of Astro in product logic and interface.
- Integration and use of TypeScript in product logic and interface.
- Integration and use of Tailwind CSS in product logic and interface.
Result
The MVP already covers the key scenario; next steps include expanding reporting, testing, and monitoring.
The source code is open: https://github.com/astropsy999/hiddenlogic-website — you can assess the module structure and commit style.
What I would improve
The next step is observability (logs/metrics), automated regression tests, and API documentation for integrators. For high-load scenarios—profiling bottlenecks and caching reference data.
