An admin panel is useful when staff run a non-standard process across spreadsheets, chats, and third-party dashboards. I build one workspace with roles, data validation, and an action history—not merely CRUD with different colours.
Scope may include imports, bulk actions, files, notifications, and existing-system APIs. Acceptance requires an employee in the correct role to complete the agreed workflow on test data; another role cannot see restricted fields; repeated imports create no duplicates; and external API failures remain traceable. A public customer portal has a different threat model.
