Technical SEO makes pages crawlable and unambiguous for indexing. I configure complete HTML, canonical URLs, sitemap, robots, redirects, and structured data before budget is spent on promotion.

Scope covers the technical layer: response codes, duplicates, pagination, metadata, internal links, images, and mobile performance. Keyword research, editorial plans, and link acquisition are separate. Acceptance requires target URLs to return meaningful HTML and 200, excluded URLs to be deliberately blocked or redirected, clean sitemaps, correct canonicals, and schema matching visible text.

Acceptance criteria

Done when

  • Key templates render full HTML and pass agreed CWV checks
  • Canonical, sitemap, and basic meta are in place
  • Forms submit and notify as specified

Deliverables

  • Deployed site + CMS/editor access if used
  • Redirect / SEO checklist

Out of scope

  • Ongoing SEO retainers and link building
  • Stock photography purchases

The final acceptance checklist is confirmed in the brief or contract; the list above is a scope alignment guide.

FAQ

Tap a question to expand the answer.

Does JSON-LD improve rankings by itself?

No. It describes entities to machines but cannot replace useful content, internal relationships, or page quality.

Does a new site need an SEO audit?

It needs a pre-launch review, when routes, templates, and redirects are cheaper to correct than after indexing.
